Based on the Brazil-only Volkswagen Nivus, the Taigo will flaunt a dynamic and sporty design thanks to its sloping roofline ‘coupe’ styling. We can expect an official premiere this summer, with VW set to launch the model for the end of 2021.
Interior, features and engines
The new Taigo will be manufactured in Pamplona, Spain and as usual, we can expect small and efficient yet powerful TSI engines and the typical premium build quality we’ve come to expect from VW group cars.
It’ll sport standard LED headlights, a vast suite of safety and assist systems and on the inside, you’ll find a fully digital cockpit and a design language in resemblance of the new Golf 8.
We’re extremely excited to get our hands on the Taigo and we’re sure it’s going to be an instant hit. The Taigo launches sometime late 2021, so be sure to subscribe to our mailing list to be notified when leasing deals go live. In the meantime, we have fantastic deals across the Volkswagen T-Cross, T-Roc, Golf and Tiguan ranges.
